That Still Small Voice

While driving to see my oncologist for a 'follow up' visit following the past month of an unexplained crippling episode, which resulted in hospitalization, I suddenly received the answer to a question I'd been desperately seeking from God.

I had asked God several times what all of that was about as I have stood on His healing promises through both cancers and had not understood how I could have become so sick so suddenly when I heard that still small voice saying,
"This is not about you but for My Glory."
I responded with a simple ok.

When we truly give our lives to Christ, they no longer are our own but now belong to our Creator.
We then become a vessel for Him to use for His works and His Glory.
However, we do not have to fear because
"Greater is He that is in us than he that is in this world." 1 John 4:4

Bring The Rain

Peter walked on the very elements that could have consumed him.
He had little enough faith to get out of the boat, which was all good as he was with disciples....but out on the stormy waters, he walked with Jesus.
Get out of the boat, no matter the rain and the winds...let the elements that's trying to take you under carry you to a new place in Christ.
I mean, what's a little rain?

Our Father in Heaven,

hallowed be your name.
Your Kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as in heaven
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our sins,
as we forgive those who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For the kingdom,
the power and the glory are yours.
Now and forever.
Amen.

Is Your Heart Broken?

I know someone who can fix it for you.

He's got the whole world in His hands but there's still room for your heart.

Jeremy Camp lost his wife at the age of 24 to Ovarian cancer...He has seen the healing hand of God as his heart was broken.

Keep Your Feet

"It's a dangerous business, going out your door.
You step onto the road and if you don't keep your feet, there's no knowing where you might be swept off to." - Lord of the Rings

To step out requires faith.
Keeping your feet requires discipline.
