This year, I had the opportunity to visit both New York City and Washington, DC.
While in New York City, I had the opportunity to visit Ground Zero. I will never forget the over - whelming grief that I felt. As I looked over the sight where the Twin Towers had once stood, I remembered back to that morning at what I had witnessed as I was watching the morning news. While in Washington, DC, though you could not get close to the Pentagon, I looked on from a distance and it just seemed surreal.
Hate took the lives of many on that day and America was seriously wounded.
But, hated or not, I love America and I am thankful everyday of my life that I have been blessed to live in this country.
God has truly blessed our nation!
